Due to Covid-19 restrictions, our centre temporarily stopped face to face activities. Our community kitchen continues to operate with limited staff maintaining infection control precautions. Dedicated staff cook fresh Indian vegetarian meals for the needy frail aged and delivery is done.
Activity booklets are prepared and distributed regularly with important information and birthday greetings. Social connection is being maintained with what’s App groups and telephone contacts.
Our staff are in daily phone contact with consumers and provide the required assistance for shopping or delivery of meals or accompanying for medical appointments .
Staff and volunteers of RAIN Inc continue to update their skills with online training.
