Meet Our Management Team
Adarsh Sachdev
Smt. Adarsh is of Punjabi speaking background and holds a Masters in Political Science and Bachelor in Teaching from Panjab University, India. She has done a First Aid course, a computer course and learnt the Russian language. With her teaching experience she started and managed her own school in India. She was Vice Chair Person of RAIN for three years.
Sudha Natarajan
Sudha has extensive training and experience in handling the needs of frail aged community members and has attended accredited training in Effective Volunteering covering the work safety rules and boundaries in volunteering. She is cognisant of the requirements of the Aged Care Act 1997. She has conducted several projects with the ISC seniors, effectively managed staff, organised cultural understanding sessions with other ethnic communities and wider Australian community; networked with other community service organisations and Indian language-based community groups.
Sapna Shah
Smt. Sapna holds a B.Sc. in Geology, a Diploma in International Air Transport and a certificate in Frontline Management. She has experience in SAP Administration and Financial Administration in different roles.
Sapna has been an active life member of RAIN for the past 5 years. She has designed and worked on the Annual Books for the past few years and has actively participated in promoting RAIN fundraising events. She has been actively involved in all planning, recording, documenting and monitoring our progress with the organisational manual and also the procedures relevant to the current changes in Centre based day care and Home Care Programs.
Bharti Black
Smt. Bharti has been associated with RAIN since it’s inception. She has been a dedicated volunteer in RAIN and in 2017 was awarded the Volunteer of the year award by Hon Mrs. Julie Bishop the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Deputy Leader of the Liberal party and Hon Mr. David Coleman – Member for Banks, Revesby, New South Wales,
Archana Sachdev
Smt. Archana is from Punjabi speaking background. She holds a B. Com. Degree from India, Diploma in Information Technology from UTS, and has done certificate course in Active Volunteering – CHC10212. She works for DHL as a Logistics Analyst in Administration and Accounts and has previously worked as a corporate trainer in other companies.
She has a keen interest in serving the Indian Sub-Continent Community and great interpersonal communication skills in dealing with individual members of the RAIN group. Participates in all Volunteer training activities and a great support with the fundraising events in planning, event management and acquittal process.

Under this program RAIN organises activities for frail seniors, designed to develop, maintain or support their capacity for independent living as well as social interaction, conducted in the safe setting of our day centre or on organised outings.

Government funded packages for in-home aged care services.
Under this program RAIN provides government funded Home Care packages for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Senior Australians of the Indian Sub–Continent community with special needs.Â
MUSTER
MUSTER aims to build community resilience through increasing the ability of communities to connect and support each other through both opportunity and adversity. The garden committee has regular group activities with volunteers actively participating and sharing their skills growing and harvesting vegetables and herbs.
